You’ll arrive at Antique Hill, in Phu Hanh village on the Ganh Da Dia peninsula — a site that has witnessed centuries of shifting power in the region. Rich groundwater made this hill a natural draw for agriculture, which is why it was settled again and again: first by proto-Indochinese communities, later by the Cham, and eventually by Vietnamese settlers.

A stone path climbs to the hilltop, passing terraced plots still enclosed by ancient stone walls. Along the way stand Streblus asper trees, planted by the Cham more than 500 years ago for their medicinal properties, and still growing today.

Your guide will share the history behind the stone houses, tombs, and wells you pass — with Xuan Dai Bay stretching out below as a constant backdrop.

From the hilltop, continue toward the tip of the promontory, then descend a staircase to a small beach ringed by rocky cliffs, where you’ll stop for a picnic lunch and some free time by the water.

A trail then climbs back up through giant rock formations, cacti, and desert-like vegetation — depending on the season, you might spot seabirds circling above. The path leads into a eucalyptus forest before descending to the Ganh Den Lighthouse, where your vehicle will be waiting.
