Day 1 : Hoi An - Quy Nhon

Departure from Hoi An towards Quang Ngai through the highway (2h drive)
Visit of the My Lai village memorial, this village is sadly famous for a massacre made by the American Army during the war and is considered a turning point of the conflict. The images of the massacre came back to the USA and fuelled the anti-Vietnam War spirits.
Lunch in Quang Ngai.
Continue towards Quy Nhon (3h drive) passing thorough the Sa Huynh salt fields and accommodation in a resort located on a local beach.
Free time to enjoy the beach or visit the nearby Ong Nui Temple famous for its Buddha statue facing the sea.
Dinner at leisure and night at the resort.
Day 2 : Quy Nhon - Phu Yen

Road towards the city center and visit Lang Son Minor Seminary, constructed between 1841 and 1850, remnant of the French colonial past. The Minor Seminary was one of the first catholic printing houses in Vietnam that was focused on printing in Quoc Ngu, the Romanised Vietnamese language.
Continue towards the Cham Twin Towers constructed in the late 12th century when Quy Nhon was the capital of the Vijaya Champa Kingdom. These Hindu towers where erected as a place of worship and are only one of the many remains of this prosperous South-East Asian Civilisation.

Road towards Phu Yen known for its pristine beaches and laid-back atmosphere.
Arrival to the Antique Hill in Phu Hanh village, located on a volcanic coast. This hill that can be considered as an archaeological site has been populated consecutively throughout history by Vietnamese, Cham and proto-Indochinese populations thanks to its great groundwater pocket making it a perfect place for agriculture.
Start walking up a stone path leading to the top of the hill where you will see agricultural plots, surrounded by ancient stone walls and Streblus Asper trees (medicinal tree) planted by the Cham over 500 years ago.
Along the path, you will listen to stories about the past and see ancient remnants such as stone houses, tombs, and wells with stunning views over Xuan Dai Bay as a background.
Enjoy a drink from a scenic spot before getting back to the car for a short drive to Volcano Beach Village and accommodation in a hotel on the beach.

Day 3 : Phu Yen

Bicycle tour to discover the fishing villages of Phuoc Dong and Xom Cat. Start in Volcano Beach Village (Phước Đồng, Tuy An) following a small coastal path all the way to Sandy Village (Thôn Xóm Cát).
Park your bike and short walk up a hill with an extinct volcano on its top, the hill is also well known by locals for its fengshui properties.
Astonishing views over the ocean, Cu Lao Mai Nha Island, Hon Yen islet, basalt columns and nearby villages. Take your time at the top to enjoy the scenery.
Get back to your bike and cycle through Sandy village passing by local agriculture fields, local houses, school…. Stop for local encounters with fisherman families.
Fresh seafood homestay lunch in a local family house or on the beach.
In the afternoon, boat ride to Cu Lao Mai Nha Island, known for its pristine beach and marine sceneries.
Walk on the island where you’ll see the wild pandanus and Indian almond trees – iconic plants of Pacific coastlines. Continue across small cliffs, strange rock formations with the never-ending ocean as a horizon, natural setting from another world.
Time at leisure for swimming and enjoying the island.
Get back to shore and evening at leisure. Night at the hotel.

Start the day at dawn (around 4h30-5am) with a visit to the local fish market right on the beach! Both chaotic and majestic, this daily market still operates the same way as it did a century ago! An authentic spectacle, crowned by the sun rising from the ocean behind the Cu Lao Mai Nha islet.
Day 4 : Phu Yen - Vinh Hy

Leave the hotel and departure towards Yen Islet located in a nearby village. Basket boat tour around this volcanic islet know for its high basalt columns, astonishing sceneries and local atmosphere.
Continue towards Tuy Hoa, the biggest city in Phu Yen (Coastal Dak Lak) and lunch in a local restaurant.
Road towards Vinh Hy Bay through the highway before getting on the provincial road 702, known as the most beautiful coastal road in Vietnam. Photo stops on this extremely scenic road where the mountain meets the ocean.

Day 5 : Vinh Hy

To start the day, transfer by electric car towards the mountain and a suspended bridge that separates Vinh Hy from a Raglai ethnic minority hamlet. Walk in this picturesque and scenic hamlet, part of the Nui Chua National Park, discover the colorful endemic flora and learn about the way of life in the mountain. Take a few steps into the nearby jungle, immerse yourself in nature and enjoy fresh seasonal fruits.
Get back to the village and stop at a charming restaurant for a vegetarian lunch in a luxuriant environment. Transfer back to Vinh Hy after this natural experience, a genuine break for the mind.
Speedboat tour to visit the stunning Vinh Hy bay. Sail around the bay enclaved by impressive cliffs & traditional fishing boats. Time at leisure on a beach in one the most beautiful areas of the bay before getting back to the pier. Astonishing sceneries along the way.
Drive to Stone Park, part of Nui Chua National Park. Walk along a small path surrounded by unique semi-arid forest & oddly shaped rocks all the way to the cliffs, breathtaking scenery over the sea. Take your time to enjoy the scenery before walking back to the car and getting back to the village.
