VUNG BOI SAND DUNES & DRAGON FIN CAPE

Departure from your hotel towards the Vung Boi Sand Dunes.

Starting from a small cemetery enter a shaded pine forest. Follow a small sandy trail through the forest until you reach a 6-meter-deep rift slicing the forest in half. On the opposite side of the rift lives a small hermit community, a sight not uncommon in isolated areas along the Vietnamese coast. Follow the rift until it becomes shallower, then cross to the other side of the forest towards the sand dunes.

Arrival at the sand dunes, with astonishing views over the ocean on one side and Ba Mountain on the other. In the distance, perched on a gigantic rock, 720 meters up the mountainside, you can spot the Hon Chuong Cham Towers built in the 11^th century.

Time to stroll around the sand dunes and take in scenery from another world, where the desert meets the ocean.

Walk down the dunes along the edge of the forest before re-entering it via a different trail.

Return to the car and continue on to the nearby Dragon Fin Cape (Mui Rong) and lunch in a family restaurant by the sea.

Time for an incredible experience: board a traditional wooden boat and sail towards the Nuoc and Nhan Islets, located 20 minutes off the coast. Enjoy astonishing views over the Dragon Gate and the Dragon Fin Cliff along the way.

Snorkel and swim at two different spots around the islets, locally famous for their table corals.

Return to shore and drive back to your hotel.
