We also had the whole trip for ourselves we didn’t se any other tourists on our trip which just add to the already magic scenery.Posted onVerified All I will say is, “Do it!” - such a fun and beautiful day I had such a great day with BlueSkies! I got to Vinh Hy sort of late and asked if they could arrange something for me for the following day and they were very happy to do so. My guide for the day, Hanh, was friendly and I really enjoyed spending the day with her. The views are to die for. It was a really great way to see Vinh Hy in a day. Spend all day in the nature, far from tourists trails was a good decision. We been in three different natural areas: forest, sea and prairie. J’ai passé un moment inoubliable à Stone Park. S’il existe un paradis, je crois l’avoir vu de mes propres yeux. Un paysage que même les photos ne peuvent pas vraiment décrire, une aventure à vivre. J’étais ravie d’avoir pu faire du snorkeling et de découvrir un paysage sous-marin comme je n’en avais jamais vu. This place exceeded anything I could have imagined. The waterfall was absolutely magical. Hiking for four hours, taking a refreshing swim along the way, and then continuing to explore this incredible landscape was beyond belief. You truly have to see it to understand. The food was delicious, and the hammocks were unbelievably comfortable. We felt completely safe, thanks to Timo and his team’s presence. What an experience—truly once in a lifetime! If you’re looking for an adventure to elevate your trip to Vietnam, I highly recommend this. It’s like nothing you’ve ever seen before.Posted onVerified Onvergetelijke tocht in de jungle We vertrekken vanuit een vissersdorpje voor een 2 daagse wandel jungle tocht… zonder wifi of 4G. Met onze gids, 2 lokale helpers en coco 🐶 die direct onze vriendin was. Aangekomen in het kamp na 4 u stijgen tot op 500 m … 😅😅😅. Deze plaats werd vroeger als schuilplaats voor de Vietcon gebruikt tijdens de American war. Met een eigen bedroom en swimming pool unieke ervaring. Na het avondmaal gaan de lokale nog eens op stap naar de “markt” achter good food… teruggekomen met een zal vol kikkers en krabben. We hebben ze geproefd en zullen nooit meer zo lekker kunnen eten! Heerlijk. We slapen in de hangmatten. De afdaling is pittig 🥵 onderweg nog een leuke waterval stop om te zwemmen, de afkoeling is welkom. We komen terug aan in Vinh Hy Bay en eten vegetarisch met een heel leuk zicht op de baai. Met Timo en zijn vrouw eten we nog eens verse vis, mossels, schaaldieren en langoest… heerlijk !Posted onVerified Belle et ressourçante expériece dans la jungle avec un super guide / A beautiful and relaaxing trek in the jungle Une superbe expérience dans la jungle avec Timo. La marche n'est ni trop longue ni difficile, et trouve en réalité le parfait équilibre puisque nous avions aussi beaucoup de temps pour nous détendre dans la jungle. La balade en elle-même est très belle, traversant tour à tour différents types de paysages et de forêts , mais le plus intéressant reste à mon sens le camping dans la jungle en lui-même, l'occasion de dormir à la belle étoile (mais protégé de la pluie, rassurez-vous) , de profiter de la rivière et de la forêt, et de vous relaxer. Expérience brève mais ressourçante. Le guide, Timo, qui parle plusieurs langues (à ma connaissance a minima le français, l'anglais, le vietnamien, le finnois??, l'espagnol...) est extrêmement sympathique et patient. A noter aussi que Timo est des plus arrangeant; il nous a par exemple laissé nous doucher chez lui et profiter de son jardin à l'issue du trek, comme nous prenions un bus le soir-même et n'avions plus d'hôtel. J'ai participé à plusieurs treks en Asie du Sud-Est et dois reconnaître d'avoir jamais eu de guide aussi chaleureux. Bref, un petit séjour qui sort un peu des sentiers battus du tourisme habituellement pratiqué dans cette partie du Vietnam. Je ne peux que recommander de faire ce détour à Vinh Hy, d'autant plus que ce village en lui-même est très agréable et parfafit pour un séjour reposant à proximité relative de Ho Chi Minh Ville ou de Nha Trang. A quick summarize in english: this trek in the jungle is a very interesting and relaxing experience that's worth going to Vinh Hy. The walk through the forest is beautiful, the most interesting part in my opinion being the time you get to enjoy the peaceful life at the camping in the heart of the jungle. Timo, the guide, speaks many languages and is as warm as helpful. The national park where we spent one night was a true paradise for lovers of adventure and nature. We started and ended the trip in a unique restaurant, which is built on several large boulders, with a wonderful view of the entire bay. The food here was really great. The first impression upon arrival in the jungle overwhelmed us with its lush green landscape and diverse flora and fauna. We walked through dense vegetation and crossed a picturesque stream with a pool, where we could refresh ourselves and refresh ourselves. The camping location in the heart of the jungle next to the stream was also idyllic, as we were able to enjoy the sounds of nature and the peace that being away from the daily hustle and bustle offers. Sleeping in the hammocks was a truly special experience. The feeling of floating among the trees is indescribable, and spending the night in the jungle brought a genuine connection with the surroundings. The local guides, with their knowledge and experience, made us feel safe and comfortable while we explored the hidden corners of this beautiful natural environment. One of the highlights of the trip was a meal prepared for us over an open fire. We tasted local dishes that took us to the culinary experience of the Vietnamese countryside. During the evening gathering by the fire, we shared stories and experiences, which further increased the magic of the moment. The hike to the viewpoint was another memorable part of the trip. When we reached the top, we were stunned by the beautiful view of an endless green sea of trees stretching into the distance. The view of the jungle from a height revealed to us its true extent and beauty. I would recommend a full trip to the Vietnamese jungle to anyone who wants a real adventure and experience in nature.
